Fidelity Global Real Assets Fund
Fidelity Global Real Assets Fund is a new fund by Fidelity Mutual Fund. It is an open ended fund which opened for subscription on January 11, 2010 and the issue will close on January 29, 2010.
- Investment Objective: To generate long-term capital growth from a portfolio which will be mainly invested in Fidelity Funds – Global Real Asset Securities Fund, an offshore fund launched by Fidelity Funds, a Luxembourg based invsetment company.
- Asset allocation: It will be investing 80% to 100% ( high risk) of assets in shares / units of the underlying scheme / foreign securities and up to 20% (low to medium risk) of assets in money market instruments and or liquid/ cash schmes of MFs registered with SEBI.
- Benchmark Index: Blend of Indices like MSCI ACWI Industrials (20% weightage), MSCI ACWI Real Estate (20%), MSCI ACWI Utilities (10%) , MSCI Materials (20%) , MSCI Energy (30%)
- Options: Growth and Dividend are two scheme options offered. With the dividend option, payment and re-investment facilities are offered.
- Terms of Issue:
Minimum application amount: Rs. 5000 per application
Additional application amount: Rs. 1000 per application
- Entry Load: No Entry load
- Exit load:
- 1% of applicable NAV if redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment
- Exit load on switch out or withdrawal under SWP or transfer under STP
- No exit load if switch is made between different options in the same scheme
